Happy Canada Day!

The kids and I have been in Canada for just over a week now. We stayed in Calgary for a few days with the amazing Strom family to get over jet lag and so the kids could get to know each other again. I also got to be selfish and practice some frisbee before Ho Down this past weekend. My Mom and Dad have been superstars and watched the kids for me, the ENTIRE weekend. After the weekend I headed back down to Fernie for a few days to celebrate Canada Day before heading off again on another tournament.

Here are some shots since we have been home.

First chance we got we headed out to enjoy the nice weather at Heritage Park. With Jody, Marla and all the kids.

Marla with Ruby on her first ride!

Lucy and Gaga enjoying a GIANT cookie at the Heartland Cafe.

My superstar frisbee friend Heather who is moving to Ontario. Sniff sniff. See you at Nationals Hez!

My Wednesday night league team! Pi!

Lucy and Auntie Viv clowning around

Lucy pretending to be like Marcia.

After the game we headed down to Fernie where the weather was a little cooler but perfect for planting some flowers.

I sure like Lucy's gardening attire. . .

For you!

Slam dunk. Oscar loves to play basketball.

The kids with Gaga at the Fernie garden centre picking out some more flowers to plant.

Oscar smelling the flower. Yes, he is smelling with his mouth.

He sure loves his new rainboots.

Oscar and my Dad enjoying the Canada day celebrations in Fernie.

Oscar and I after his big win! He won the 1 year old baby race. That huge basket sitting in front of us is all the loot that he won. Way to go!
