I'm back

I haven't blogged since we left Canada and figured it was about time. As the saying goes "If you don't have anything positive to say, then don't say anything at all." I was in a bad place for awhile, but I'm out of it and have a new look at things here. It's not that it's bad here, it's just different. People are happier. Yes. It's just in transition right now. Everyone is just waiting it seems. I have only lived here 5 years I can't even begin to imagine what 42 years must have felt like. Change is starting. I have faith, I believe and I wait.

Even though the change is enormous here life still goes on. Our little family is sure lucky!

We love our new house and the outside kitchen.

I love baby feet. Especially sandy baby feet. Libby's first time at the Med.

Lucy all decked out for one of her class mate's birthday parties.

Libby along for the party.

Birthday parties are a BIG deal here. So fun. Parents go all out and it's a great time for the kids.
This one had loads of balloons, amazing food, that fun spray-stuff-in-a-can, exploding paper and candy contraptions, fun music and games.

Here is Lucy with a few of her class mates.

I love this sticker.
New school for Lucy, with homework and weekly spelling tests. It begins!

It's good to be back Benghazi!
