Visit to Miniatürk

We visited Miniatürk on Saturday and it was truly fun for the whole family. It's an outdoor minature park that houses more than 120 models of various Turkish structures, both old and new.

All models are built to 1/25 scale, and with fantastic detail.

Here are the girls below the recently-visited Sumela Monastery!

Like I said - fantastic detail.

Rumeli Hisari (near the kid's school in Istanbul).

Galata Tower.

Of course the kids loved riding in the train that did laps around the place.

Forget about the cool models, let's drive some boats!

We even squeezed in a visit to the go-karts.
They also had a great playground for the kids and this super fun trampoline thing.  Melanie was the first one in. . . .
